This Privacy Policy explains what information we at Fladlien & Associates, LLC (“Fladlien”) collect from you from our websites fladliendesign.com, mclassyachts.com, and qclassyachts.com (collectively, the “Sites”) and what we do with it. We also want to clarify how this information may be shared with other parties and what controls you have regarding the handling of your information. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with our Privacy Policy.

Our Sites may advertise our boat design services. Neither Fladlien nor any of its services are designed or intended to attract individuals under the age of 13, and persons under the age of 13 are not authorized to use our Sites.

This Privacy Policy is effective August 6, 2015. A notice will be posted as part of this Privacy Policy and on the home page of each of our Sites for 30 days whenever this Privacy Policy is changed in a material way.

This policy does not describe our information practices with respect to information that is provided to us directly through electronic mail (except for electronic mail executed from the website), written hard copy correspondence, orally, or any other method other than through our Sites.

1. Information Collected

Fladlien collects several types of personal and non-personal information either directly from you and/or through our service providers and partners.

2. Personal Information

Personal Information is information that can be used to uniquely identify you. We collect such information from you when you request us to contact you. We collect your name, physical address, email address, telephone and cell phone numbers if you provide them to us, and your internet address. We use this information to enable you to use our goods and services. For example, we will use this information to provide you with information you may request.

3. Non-Personal Information

Non-personal information includes information that we gather as you navigate our Sites. We may use log files and cookies to gather this information. We may log this information when you visit and browse our Sites. We may record details such as domains, and statistics of your visit including page views, and time spent on our Sites. Non-personal information also includes information concerning services you wish to purchase.

4. Information Uses

4.1. Personal Information

Fladlien will collect from you your name, physical address, and electronic mail address to the extent we ask for it or you provide it. We may provide this information to our third party marketing and sales vendors, and use this information to provide you with information you request, and to compile an email list for sending newsletters to users who have opted in, and not opted out, to receive the newsletter.

4.2. Non-Personal Information

We use non-personal information to track and monitor aggregate usage of our Sites and for internal analysis, quality control, to consider changes in website design and functionality, consider future material for inclusion or elimination, and to improve our services for you and other customers. We also use non-personal information to provide advertising messages to you. We retain this information indefinitely.

4.3. Do Not Track.

We support the Do Not Track browser setting. Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your browser to let the websites you visit know that you do not want them collecting certain information about you. If you request us not to track your activities on our Sites, we will recommend that you refer to your web browser’s instructions to determine if and how you can disable the tracking function. Preventing us from tracking your activity on our Sites may disable certain functionality.

4.4. Log Files

Fladlien gathers certain information automatically and stores it in log files. This information includes, among other items, internet protocol (or IP) addresses, date/time stamp, time spent on the site, and clickstream data (i.e., a list of pages or URLs visited). We use this information to analyze trends, administer the site, and for general marketing research. We may, in some circumstances, need to review this automatically collected data in combination with specific account information to identify and resolve issues for individual users.

Our Sites may also use cookies. A cookie is a small file that is stored on a user’s computer when you visit our Sites or any other website through your computer. We may use temporary cookies, among other things, to make it easier for you to navigate our ,Sites, improve the security of your personal information, enhance the functionality of certain features, and improve performance.

5. Information Sharing and Disclosure

Fladlien may disclose personal information for other purposes.

5.1. Disclosure Required By Law

Under certain circumstances personal information may be subject to disclosure pursuant to judicial or other government subpoenas, warrants, or orders. If we are legally compelled to disclose your personal information to a third party, we will disclose the information as required by law, but exercise commercially reasonable efforts to notify you of the disclosure unless doing so would violate the law or a court order.

5.2. Regular Business

We may use your personal information with businesses with which Fladlien regularly does business, or which provide services to Fladlien, in the ordinary course of the services they are performing for Fladlien. Fladlien is not responsible for the information practices of these other businesses.

5.3. Business Transitions

In the event that Fladlien goes through a business transition such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale or other transfer of all or a portion of its assets, your personal information and non-personal information will likely be among the assets transferred.

6. Security

Fladlien saves email addresses and their associated customer names on a computer that is password protected. Fladlien receives and saves individual email, which contain the person’s name and email address, on a computer that may or not be password protected. No other form of security is used.

7. Your Choices and Privacy Preferences

If your personal information changes, or if you would like to review the personally identifiable information that Fladlien has on you, then you may view, correct, update, or delete your information by sending a request to our Customer Support at info@universalrule.com.

Please recognize that protecting your personal information is also your responsibility. We ask you to be responsible for safeguarding your password, and other authentication information you use to access our Sites. You should not disclose your authentication information to any third party and should immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your password. We cannot secure personal information that you release on your own or that you request us to release.

Despite Fladlien’s efforts to protect your personal information, there is always some risk that an unauthorized third party may find a way around our security systems or that transmissions of your information over the Internet will be intercepted.

8. Business Partners

We may provide links or email addresses to our business partners, and other persons with whom we believe our users may be interested. Each of these persons may have different information practices that are different than those used by Fladlien, and Fladlien has no responsibility for their information practices. To the extent you provide information to these persons, we direct your attention to them to determine their respective information practices.
